Will someone please anwser a question that has been bugging me for years
A baseball player can hit a ball that’s flying at him at 100 miles per hour, spinning unpredictably, and with thousands of people shouting their lungs out at him…..
Yet, on a tee
box, a golfer needs to have complete silence to hit a golf ball that
is absolutely stationary and perfectly set up to be hit……
Why is this?
Is it because of the respective traditions of the game? Or is there a much deeper and more profound psychological issue at play that my limited number of brain cells cannot fully comprehend?
Will someone please enlighten me…..!

it's all relative really i think. > the noise in a baseball field is constant therefore it becomes the norm therefore batters can work in those conditions > golfers play in silence therefore the littlest noise will be a distraction however i think
