Michael, along with his wife Geraldine, owns and operates the Award winning Killeen House Hotel, in beautiful Killarney. Prior to purchasing the Killeen House, he worked in a variety of different positions in various locations all over Ireland, always in[...] the Hotel & Tourism Industry. He is passionate about about Irish tourism, and in his own words (and in one of the worst puns imaginable!) he "eats, sleeps and drinks" the business! He has grave worries about things right now, but ever the optimist, he knows that even though there are tough times at present, that things will definitely improve over the next couple of years. The challenge for Michael - and many more like him - is to ensure that he is still standing at the end of the downturn, and that he is positioned to play his part in the great upturn that will inevitably come about following the severe downturn......
